Sarah believes she has won the lottery after securing a one-bedroom apartment at the Asilo Del Mar Apartments in Los Angeles. It has ample room, nice tenants, group barbecues, and even a cute neighbor. Everything is not as it seems: loud noises begin to keep her awake at night; her cat goes missing; and everyone, with the exception of Lester, seems a little too helpful and pleasant. Sarah soon discovers that she did not select her flat; rather, it chose her.
