Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel
Anne Shirley, a school teacher, has begun collecting rejection slips and writing stories. She's the acquaintance of a handsome, rich, bachelor, chases a cow, and wins (for her chagrin) a baking-soda company's writing competition. She neglects Gilbert Blythe's marriage proposal, and acts as Diana's maid of honour. Which sends her to show Kingsport Ladies' College, an exclusive girls school, where she meets opposition in one of the instructors, Miss Brooke, and the Pringle clan (one of whom is just a rich, handsome bachelor). However, while Anne enjoys the friends she makes, and the conflict, she contributes to Avonlea.
