Eugene and Rick are two unsuccessful artists who live together in a one-bedroom apartment. Rick, on the other hand, is troubled by this because Eugene is obsessed with pulp fiction comic books and suffers from nightmares as a result. Rick quickly realizes that his dreams could provide wonderful fodder for his own comic book series.
