Candles on Bay Street
Dee-dee returns to her hometown with her son, Trooper, 13 years after she ran off with her own boyfriend. Sam, her friend, is married and he and his wife would be the veterinarians of the town. After Sam tells her that they were close friends lydia is really a small wary about dee-dee and dee-dee was his very first crush. However, Trooper and dee-dee find their way into many hearts of the townspeople with their helpfulness and friendships. Dee-dee invites lots of the ladies of this town to weekly candle manufacturing parties and creates a candle making business around , and during those parties she and Lydia become friends. One evening after dinner with Sam and Lydia, dee-dee tells Sam she's very sick and she doesn't always have to live and she needs his help find a family in town to adopt Trooper. Lydia everything is later told by sam and so they opt to adopt.
