Diplomacy
The night of August 24, 1944. Paris' fate is at the control of General von Choltitz, governor of Grand Paris, who is preparing, on the orders of Hitler , to blow up the French funding. The descendent of a long line of military men never had some hesitation when it came into obeying orders. That is exactly what's on Swedish consul Raoul Nordling's mind as he chooses the secret stairs which leads at the Hôtel Meurice to the suite of General von Choltitz. The bridges on the Seine and the significant monuments of Paris (including the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower) are mined using explosives, ready to be detonated. Armed with most of the weapons of diplomacy, the consul will endeavour to convince the entire never to follow the order of destruction of Hitler.
