A day that seems to be going by normally in the life of Quentin, a film fan living in Paris. After attending two movies, he runs into an old college acquaintance, overhears a conversation between two women at a bar, then goes to see his closest friend, has a beer, and ultimately spends the evening in the Parc Montsouris, where he meets Lise.
