Pete's Dragon
For decades, old woodcarver Mr. Meacham has reveled local kids with his tales of this fierce drag on that resides deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. For his daughter, Grace, who works as a forest ranger, those stories are little more than tall tales... until she meets Pete, a mysterious 10-year-old without a family and no dwelling who claims to reside in the forests with a huge, green monster named Elliott. And out of Pete's descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably similar to this drag on by Mr. Meacham's stories. With the help of Natalie, an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack possesses the local timber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came out of, the facts concerning this particular dragon, and also where he belongs.
