Pit Stop
A drag racing street punk, rick Bowman, concerns Famous businessman Grant Willard's attention. Willard offers him as a stock car driver and bails him out of jail. Bowman takes and enters the demolition derby-adjacent entire environment of"figure eight" rushing. The figure eight track's king will be cocky hotshot Hawk Sidney. Bowman and Sidney clash. Hawk friend Jolene falls prey to Bowman's charm. Bowman's gaze shifts onto Ellen McLeod, winner racer Ed McLeod's wife. As Bowman moves up at the rankings, his regard for his friends slips- giving way to obsession with becoming the best.
