Psych-Out
Jenny is a deaf runaway who has recently arrived in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood in search of her long-lost brother, a mysterious bearded sculptor dubbed The Seeker. She becomes involved with Mumblin' Jim, a psychedelic band comprised of Stoney, Ben, and Elwood. They conceal her from the fuzz in their crash pad, a Victorian mansion strewn with love beads and couples necking. Dave, Mumblin' Jim's truth-seeking friend, views the band's desire of popularity as "gaming," but agrees to assist Jennie nevertheless.
