Saving Mother Robot
Late Dec 2012, taipei. The town is going through an unprecedented cold temperatures heatwave, with temperatures in the 30s. Eight-year-old Tiger (Antoine) resides together with his ailing mother, Cao Yi (Vivian Hsu), 3-6, who is struggling to make ends meet with her occupation as a magazine editor and also paid off alimony payments from her exhusband (Tang Kuo-chung). Tiger, with a hyperactive imagination and sees with his mum as a rundown robot that needs a fresh model, is not so bright at school and worries his craft teacher (Mini Yang) with the dark pictures he pulls in class.
