A psychological horror film based on the brief story by H.P. Lovecraft. Daniel Upton's relationship with his friend Edward Derby is changed after Edward becomes involved with Asenath Waite, a hypnotist having an unusual reputation. As Edward's behavior grows erratic and incidents unexplainable, Daniel investigates. Is it madness. . .or some thing?
