A Dangerous Game

In this follow-up to the award-winning You've Been Trumped, filmmaker Anthony Baxter follows American tycoon Donald Trump and a cast of other greedy individuals as they attempt to convert some of the planet's most valuable lands into golf courses and playgrounds for the very affluent. From Dubrovnik's historic walls to the ancient sand dunes and rolling green hills of the seaside town of Balmedie, these tycoons bully local residents, influence governments, disregard local referendums, and even interfere with national environmental policies in order to acquire their latest trophies. We learn how destructive these golf courses can be to the surrounding countryside and water tables through in-depth interviews and Baxter's great storytelling. The locals resist easily in this amusing, uplifting, and at times devastating David and Goliath narrative for the twenty-first century.
