Black Bread

From the harsh post-war years' Catalan countryside, Andreu, a child that belongs for the losing side, discovers out the corpses of a man and his son in the woods. The authorities need his father to be made accountable for the deaths, but by finding who truly killed them, Andreu tries to help his father. In this search, Andreu develops a consciousness against an environment of adults fed by lies. As a way to survive, he eventually ends up finding the monster that resides within him out and betrays their or her own origins.
