Bottle Rocket

When Wes Anderson made his first full-length movie, he was inspired by this short film. The point of crime is that it's not very interesting at all. Dignan and Anthony are two young men who talk about "Starsky and Hutch" as they walk down the road. They're on their way to break into a house. After that, they go to a cafe and play pinball there, too. During the argument, they talk to their friend Bob about another plan. They talk to a man about buying a gun just to scare him, but it doesn't work. Anthony breaks into a car in order to steal a wallet from the inside. A holdup is planned with Bob. Then they talk about it at a hamburger stand: they took $183 from an armored car. They're glad. The two friends race each other.
