Friends & Lovers

A group of twenty-somethings who have been friends for ten years head to the ski slopes as Ian's father's guests. (Ian and his father are alienated since Ian's father worked too many hours as a child.) Dad has something to say, but Ian is deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly Ian's business colleague, Keaton, is unhappy that his sister Jane is pregnant and has no plans to notify her father; Lisa is everyone's friend but no one's lover; and John, stuck in adolescence, is always on the go. Carla, a German-born beauty, is introduced, and she quickly falls in love with Hans, a fast-talking ski instructor. Manny and David have a chess game in common. As relationships take new directions, there will be plenty of surprises.
