Grabbers

Something black has come to the beaches of Erin Island, unbeknownst to the fishing village's quaint population perched someplace off the coast of Ireland. First, some fishermen go lost. Then there is the rash of whale carcasses suddenly washing upon the beach. After the murders start, it's around two mismatched cops -- an unkind alcoholic along with his new partner, a woman from the mainland -- to protect the townsfolk from the giant tentacled aliens that predate upon them. Their sole weapon, they detect, is booze. If they would like to live the animals' onslaught, everyone will need to find very, very drunk!
