Neon Detroit Knights

In order to take down a crime syndicate, two detectives were put undercover. They are now in over their heads. Thirty years after their Captain was killed, they work for the very person they were hired to take down. As of now, he's on the streets of Detroit at night looking for low-level criminals to join the crime syndicate's group. One night, while they were on a delivery mission, they saw a person who was more than what they first thought. Right through a time portal, they chase him right back to the 1980s and try to get him. Is it possible to fix their past without ruining the present?
