A Michigan farmer and a prospector form a partnership in the California gold country. Their adventures include buying and sharing a wife, hijacking some stage, kidnapping six prostitutes, and turning his mining camp. Along the way there is loads of betting drinking, and also singing. They even find time to do a few gold mining that is creative.
