Resting Place

A 1972 TV movie set in Rockville, Georgia. Major Kendall Laird, a SAR officer, comes in this small little village with Lieutenant Dwyte Johnson's body. Laird must assist Johnson's parents with his funeral. But because the dead hero was black, the town's "all-white" cemetery's white racists refuse to admit his parents.
