Stalag 17
It's a Dull Xmas 1944 for Its American POWs in Stalag 17. For the men in Barracks 4 have to deal with a grave problem - there looks like a security leak. Even the Germans appear to be forewarned about leaks and in the most recent effort the 2 men, Manfredi and Johnson, walked into a snare and were killed. For some in Barracks 4, especially the loud-mouthed Duke, the leaker is obvious: J.J. Sefton, a wheeler dealer who does not hesitate to trade with the guards and who has acquired rights and goods that no other captive seems to possess. Sefton makes it quite obvious he has no intention of trying to flee which simplifies providing any information to the Germans. It doesn't extend to spying on the Germans, although he intends to ride out the war into what comfort he can arrange.
