Standby

Madison finds herself bound to a lifetime of fear, after almost drowning in a lake. Unable to clarify what happened during the moments that she had been underwater to her, she begins to produce hydrophobia: an abnormal fear of drinking water. Crippled with her article trauma, Madison tries to close the world out but her fear awakens and she is confronted with the vision of a figure that destroys. After seeing her battle for one year with dreams and all the jealousy, Madison's four friends attempt an unconventional intervention by which they inadvertently open a floodgate to a dark place where not one of them are safe. Since Madison and her friends dive deeper to the history with this figure that haunts them it reaches out and begins dragging them to some place that is horrifying that they could never return out of.
