Story of a Love Affair

Paola (Lucia Bose) is the beautiful younger wife of a shady factory owner, Enrico Fontana. She is very protective of her husband (Massimo Girotti). In order to find out more about Paola's love life, he hires a private detective. This brings Paola back into contact with her former lover, Guido, with whom she rekindles a lost passion. Suspicions from their partners keep them close together, and they start to plan how to kill each other. As soon as the challenge of being together is gone, will the love fade away as well?
