Suddenly

As Secret Service agents to commandeer war widow ELLEN'S house four assassins pose. Her home is just a sniper spot for their plan to assassinate the President in his visit. The cops that are local are fooled by the men TODD, aside from one. A former war hero and deputy who is presently town drunk, Todd served together with Ellen husband, and it has developed romantic feelings for her. But she rebuffs his advances. No one will listen to the ravings of an drunk, although the house is visited by todd and can be suspicious of bar on. Once Todd realizes what is happening, he manages to kill one of Baron's crew, but is recorded. Now Ellen and he must find a means to avoid Baron and his men before they kill the President.
