Suitcase Killer: The Melanie McGuire Story

In the actual story of Melanie McGuire, a remarkable fertility nurse who was married to her ex-Navy husband Bill and devoted mother to her two sons, we learn that she was a remarkable woman. Embroiled in a torrid love affair with Brad, a doctor at her clinic, Melanie does the unimaginable. Then, she dismembers Bill and dumps the pieces of him into the Chesapeake Bay in three suitcases after drugging and killing him. Nevertheless, when the luggage wash up on the shores of Virginia Beach, a search is initiated that leads to Melanie as the major suspect. Assistant attorney general Patti Prezioso spearheads the prosecution's efforts to bring Melanie to justice, despite the fact that she has been convicted and stands by her innocence.
