The Christmas Pageant

Vera Parks, an demanding and intense Broadway director, has fired from still another career, leaving her no choice but to shoot a gig leading a little town Christmas pageant in New York. Stunned at how basic the production is, Vera tries to back outside, but is convinced by a number of those locals to present their town a chance. To her surprise, charm and the warmth of this town grows on Vera and she even enjoys the adventure of directing the pageant. She is outraged, when Vera discovers her prior fiancé Jack urged her to get the task. As she grows close to both Jack and his young daughter but as time passes the gesture is appreciated by Vera.
