The Eel

White collar worker Yamashita realizes that his wife has a fan when he's away seeing her , unexpectedly returns home and kills her. After eight years in prison, he soon proceeds to dwell in a little village, opens a barbershop (he was trained as a barber in prison) and speaks almost to no-one except for the eel he"befriended" in prison. He finds out the body of Keiko, who reminds him and attempted suicide one day. She starts to work at his own shop, but he does not let her become near him.
