Summer1998: The Tour de France's opening stages move to Ireland. Dom Chabol (late 30s) has been one of the Tour's greatest "Domestiques" for 20 years. It's a sacrifice role — setting the tempo, blocking the wind, and supporting the team's sprinter to victory. But Dom secretly wishes to wear the yellow jersey one last time before retiring. Dom gets unceremoniously dropped from the Team he has committed his life to at the commencement of his last Tour. His team masseur, Sonny, fails to reassure him about his future. But a serendipitous encounter with Lynn, a young Irish doctor, helps Dom accept-and even love-civilian life. But as he prepares to return home and confront his estranged sister, a catastrophic doping blunder forces Dom back into the saddle...
