Trouble in Suburbia

Charlie Cunningham begs her mother, Amber, to let her switch from her small private school to a public secondary school, intending to verify to her (as well as to herself) that she's altered since being rejected of institution in 2014. Maturing with no high-ends, Amber works overtime as a physician in order to offer Charlie the finer things in life. It's also her method of making up for her divorce two years earlier, as well as she stresses that Charlie criticizes herself for the splitting up. Amber is concerned Charlie will return to her old methods, falling into the wrong group as well as obtaining blended in drugs and alcohol, yet she unwillingly agrees. The new college starts off well; Charlie obtains good grades and also appreciation from her teachers and joins the robotics group - up until she falls in with the incorrect crowd, starts abusing artificial weed, and becomes a covering of her previous self.
