Young and Dangerous

In Wanchai, Nam opens a bar and advances in the Hung Hing gang in Hong Kong. Chicken, his best friend, is sent to Taiwan to work for the San Luen gang's leader, Lui, in order to keep a low profile. While there, he falls in love with Ting Yiu, the elderly Lui's lover. Back in Hong Kong, Chicken discovers Nam engaged in combat with a longtime foe named Fai Fat. A short while later, Lui appears and demands that Hung Hing sell him a stake in their upcoming Macau casino. Lui threatens war, Chicken is forced to choose sides, and Ting Yui arranges up a meeting when Chiang, the head of Hung Hing, wants to consider it. On a collision path with Chicken's feelings are the rivalries of Fai and Nam, Lui's avarice, and Ting's goals.
