Amazon has been a syndicated tv show created by Peter Benchley. It was developed WIC Entertainment & by production companies Alliance Atlantis Communications and business Beta Film GmbH. The 22 episodes of the series were at syndication between 2000 and 1999.
The play series centered on both survivors of a crashed airline flight in the Amazon jungle. The set comes into contact with a Native American tribe, and relationships really are not anything but favorable. The group has been drawn in by a tribe, who also flew out of 16th century colonists that were lost from Amazon. Relations with the Chosen are tenuous at best. The majority of the group leaks the plumped for to stir up a hornets nest with a tribe of cannibals, directed by an American that is insane woman bent on domination of the regional tribes. The initial season ended at a cliff hanger, and another season was not produced. The series kept interest that was sufficient that it was released on DVD at 2011.
A novelization of the pilot had been written by Rob MacGregor, and a massmarket paperback was published by Harper on 8 2000.
The title has been Amazonas - Gefangene des Dschungels.
