Arena
Arena was a G4/G4techTV television show about gambling that is competitive which aired from 2002. This system's format featured teams taking on each gaming all of this time in the form of a LAN party. Many episodes of this series revolved around a tournament format.
Some video gaming revolve episodes, such as Call of Duty and Unreal Tournament 2004. Teams are given a opportunity to talk about themselves and explain these team name's origin. Team ZoMBiE won the Tournament of Champions in 2004 to become the Ultimate Arena Champions. Team Kaizen won the Tournament of Champions to become the Ultimate Arena Champions.
Both hosts left because of conflicts with this program's producer, Jim Downs, of which most were made public by Wheaton in a Slashdot posting, although the show was hosted by Travis Oates and Wil Wheaton. Lee Reherman and Michael Louden substituted them. The final hosts were Reherman and Kevin Pereira.
The first two seasons were filmed in studio 2. For the shows' third and last season, Back in 2004, filming moved in to studio 3, which was the studio in the older headquarters of G4. After word of this TechTV buy-out became public, and the show was going to be cancelled because of this, the series banked a few episodes, and then scrapped the set July 2004 to make way for X-Play, The Screen Savers, and Unscrewed with Martin Sargent, three former TechTV properties.
