Asylum

Asylum is a comedy show that was displayed on Paramount Comedy Channel in 1996. Set at a mental asylum, it ran for a single series of six episodes. To a point, it was unlike comedy tv shows or traditional sitcoms an opportunity by various comedians, mixed with an overall narrative involving black humour. It's for involving a great numbers of British comedians, those who have gone on to focus with a few of the comedy programmes of the past ten years significant. It marked the first alliance of Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright and Jessica Stevenson, who'd go on to earn cult sitcom Spaced. Many of the characters names were. David Devant & His Spirit Wife would be the"house band" for its string, performing segments in every incident, from their first album, Work, Lovelife, Miscellaneous. The lead-in track"Ginger" functioned while the programme's name. The show has yet to be published on DVD. However, the episodes that are full are viewable on the web site of Norman Lovett.
