Baywatch

Baywatch is an action drama Show on the Los Angeles County Life Guards who patrol the Shores of Los Angeles County, California, starring David Hasselhoff. The show became one of the most watched shows on earth and had been canceled after its first season on NBC, however, lived. The show ran from 1989 to 1999 on its original name and structure, aside from the 1990 -- 1991 season, throughout. From 1999 to 2001, with a setting shift and large throw overhaul, it had been famous as Baywatch Hawaii. Baywatch started on NBC in 1989, but was canceled after just 1 season when it placed 73rd out of 10 3 shows at the evaluations that were seasonal and because the studio sought out of business. Feeling the show had potential, Hasselhoff and Executive Producers Michael Berk and founders, Douglas Schwartz and Greg Bonann revived it for the syndication market in 1991. Hasselhoff was given the name of Executive Producer for his work again. The show was hugely successful, particularly internationally. Baywatch Nights the show led to a Spin off, and also a reunion film, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. With production costs rising in Los Angeles, and also the syndication market slowed, in 1999, the master plan was to move the show into Australia and launch Baywatch Down Under. A pilot had been filmed when taxpayers of Avalon put forth objections, including potential harm to a delicate eco system however, the show was discontinued. Pittwater Council resisted all future filming. This pilot finally referred to as being a two-part episode of Baywatch.
