Clubhouse

For the first time, Pete Young takes a risk - possibly the risk of his life - if he applies for and lands his dream job as a batboy for the New York Empires. The challenge is that his lone mum does not have any clue what he's upto. Until today, he's been the golden boy while his sister has been in the dog house. Pete attends a strict school where he hangs out with his best friend. Pete becomes part of a new family that features Conrad Dean, the group captain and star third baseman and one of those boy's all time idols, who assumes the role of an elderly brother. Also are Pete's boss, Lou Russo, a gruff but fair equipment manager who becomes a father figure that is . Carlos Tavares, a rookie who considers Pete is his good luck charm, and Jose Marquez, '' the Empires' head bat boy. Pete is on the moon in being a portion of his team but he must balance life in home and life in the big leagues since he faces.
