Earth 2

Earth 2 is an American science fiction tv series that aired on NBC in November 6, 1994 on June 4, 1995. The show had been canceled after one season of 22 episodes. It follows the journey and payoff of a small expeditionary group called the Eden Project, with the aim to journey into an Earth-like planet identified as G889 in an attempt to discover a cure to an illness known as"the syndrome". The show was created by Michael Duggan, Carol Flint, Mark Levin, and Billy-ray, produced by Amblin Entertainment and Universal Television, and filmed in New Mexico around the Santa Fe area. The series' music has been written by David Bergeaud, and the producers were Mark Levin, Michael Duggan, and Carol Flint. Initially, the crowd of the show has been quite large, attaining eighth place. But by April 23 of their year, Nielsen ratings share had fallen from 23 percent to 9%. During its run, it was nominated for awards, Saturn, along with a Primetime Emmy. In a 4-disc set, the whole series has been released in 2005.
