Inspector Gadget

Detective Inspector Gadget is the protagonist of an animated television series called Inspector Gadget, which follows the exploits of a bionic person named Inspector Gadget, who has different bionic gadgets fitted into his body. "M.A.D." commander Dr. Claw is Gadget's arch-nemesis. Dr. Claw represents the antithesis of all that Gadget stands for. When it first aired from 1983 through1986, this was DIC Entertainment's first nationally syndicated cartoon show. In reruns around the world, it has been a great success. The series was made in France, Canada, the United States, Taiwan, and Japan. DIC Entertainment in France and Nelvana in Canada co-produced the film, while the animation was outsourced to overseas studios such Tokyo Movie Shinsha in Japan and Cuckoo's Nest Studio in Taiwan. For the first time, an animated television series was shown in stereo for the very first time with this show.
