Lawman

Lawman is an western television Show originally telecast on ABC Comprising Peter Brown as Deputy Marshal Johnny McKay and starring John Russell as Marshal Dan Troop. The show had been put during the 1880s as well as 1879 in Laramie, Wyoming. Warner Bros. had a few western series on the air at the time, with started Cheyenne using Clint Walker since 1955. The trend was continued by the studio using the additions of Maverick with James Garner and Jack Kelly, Colt .45 with Wayde Preston, along with Sugarfoot with Will Hutchins. 1 year after, Warner Bros. added Lawman and Bronco with Ty Hardin. Before the outset of production, Russell and Brown and manufacturer Jules Schermer made a pact to maintain the standard of the show so it would not be regarded as"just another western" At the start of year two, Brown and Russell were combined the owner of the Bird Cage Saloon by Peggie Castle since Lily Merrill, and also a love interest for Dan.
