Jim Jefferies, a visionary, foul-mouthed standup comedian from Australia, in his mid-30s and living in LA, is trying to create his lifetime and livelihood more"legit," only to find it a difficult, uncomfortable uphill struggle every stage along the way. Jim is invited in his pursuit by Steve, his neurotic best friend and roommate, a cyber-law library salesman that fights to keep on his feet while in the aftermath of a divorce, along with Steve's brother Billy, who is affected with complex staged Muscular Dystrophy and is restricted to a wheelchair.
