Moesha

Moesha was an American sitcom series that ran on the UPN network from the 23rd of January 1996 all the way through the 14th of May 2001. Moesha Mitchell, a high school girl who lives with her family in the Leimert Park district of South Central Los Angeles and is played by R&B singer Brandy Norwood, is the protagonist of this television series. It was first commissioned as a pilot for the television season that ran on the CBS network in1995-1996, but the network did not accept it. After that, it was bought up by UPN, and they showed it as a substitute for the first half of the season. It went on to become the most successful show for the young network, and it was also one of the most popular shows over the entirety of the network's existence.
