Nisekoi follows senior high school students Raku Ichijo, the child of some leader at the yakuza faction shueigumi, and Chitoge Kirisaki, the girl of a boss in an rival gang. They meet when Chitoge jumps a wall and knees Raku in the face. Raku understands he has lost with whom he made a promise, after she runs off. He forces her to help him try to find the locket after discovering Chitoge is really actually a brand new transfer student in his group. During the search, they begin to dislike each other.
