One Big Happy

Best-friends Lizzy (gay and somewhat typea ) and Luke (directly and more laid back) are similar to family. Their parents both got divorces and when these were children they stuck together, plus they've been around for one another from the time. All grown up and still single, they've decided to begin a category of their own. Nonot just like this (there are some lines they wont cross) - we're talking the non-romantic, go-to-the-doctor's-office-type of baby-making. One night, after yet another failed effort at conception, both head out to a bar to let off some steam. That's where Luke and a girl who's slated to return to England in only a few days, Prudence meet. Lizzy isn't a massive fan - it might have something to do with Prudence waltzing round their apartment nude - but Luke really hits it off with her... and next thing he knows, they are spending every minute of her small time together. But just as Lizzy finds that she is actually pregnant, Luke declares that he and Prudence got married. Ta-da! Another type of family comes into the world.
