Packed into the Rafters can be an Australian tv series that originated on the Network on Tuesday 26 . The show has continued to Tuesdays in this timeslot for its whole run. The drama series features a variety of lighthearted comedy. It revolves round the Rafter family facing life problems and work stresses, whilst also tackling problems that are acute. The Logie award winning series was the highest evaluation to screen in the Network in 2008, and also the show has always been among the top 5 shows of the year all through its conduct in Australia. It was announced in TV Week that the sixth season of Packed into the Rafters would be the last, with Hugh Sheridan stating:"It's emotional letting go of Rafters -- for all of us. This was such an amazing chapter in Aussie TV. I am really proud we came back together to send it off." Rafters' series finale aired on 2 that saw the return of Ryan Corr, Jessica Marais, Hugh Sheridan, Jessica McNamee and James Stewart. Rebecca Gibney said,"The cast, writers and producers have consistently stated we wanted to maintain Rafters as truly one of those most-watched shows on TV. We needed to end it on a higher if we felt like we were losing too many cast members. We can state season six winds upward an aspect of the Rafter family and there is a feeling of finality for this ."
