The setting of "Prisma" is the city of Latina, just south of Rome, and its surrounding area, which was a marsh until it was drained under Fascist authority. The region is currently renowned for its modernist architecture and prosperous agriculture. The eight-episode series focuses on identical adolescent twins Marco and Andrea, who question gender stereotypes in various ways, as well as their group of friends who are also through a similar journey.
