Rose and Maloney

Sarah Lancashire and Phil Davis play detectives Rose Linden and Maloney on the British TV crime drama Rose and Maloney. They work for the made-up Criminal Justice Review Agency. Miscarriage of justice claims are investigated by this organization, which decides whether or not to reopen closed cases. Rose may be intelligent, but she's also headstrong and occasionally risky. Because of her propensity to go against established norms and trust her gut, she frequently finds herself at odds with those in positions of power. Even though Maloney is Rose's boss, he often follows the lead of his more zealous coworker, Rose. Maloney is an orderly, if somewhat drab, individual. He enjoys the risky but exhilarating challenge of working with Rose. First shown on ITV on September 29, 2002, was a pilot episode. In July of2005, there was a trilogy of stories.
