Soap is an American sitcom that originally ran on ABC into 1981 from 1977. The series was created as a parody of soap operas, presented like a weekly half-hour prime time comedy. Similar to your soap opera, the series's story was presented at a format and included plot elements like demonic possession, abduction, murder, and kidnapping. Back in 2007 it had been listed as one of Time magazine"100 Greatest shows of all time," and at 2010, the Tates and the Campbells ranked at number 17 in TV Guide's list of"TV's Top Families". The series was made, written, and executive produced by Susan Harris, and also executive produced by Paul Junger Witt and Tony Thomas. A retrospective of their last season preceded each coming season. The two of those retrospectives were made on VHS. 85 episodes aired . The final four episodes of this show aired through the initial run using ABC as episodes. These episodes were later divided in 2, yielding 9 3 half-dozen episodes.
