Splash!
Splash! Is a reality television show that follows actors as they try to understand the craft of diving. The stars perform each week in front of a board of judges and a live crowd in an pool that is diving with an result per week partially determined by people vote. Gabby Logan and Vernon Kay demonstrate the series, whilst Team GB Olympic Bronze Medal winning diver Tom Daley is your expert mentor to those actors. It's filmed in the Inspire: Luton Sports Village, that will be located in Stopsley, Luton. The series premiered on ITV on Saturday 5 January 2013 winning the ratings battle because of the 7.15pm-8.15pm slot with an average crowd of 5.6 million viewers, a system talk of 23.6%.
Splash has been the maximum evaluation entertainment series on ITV for five years.
The structure for the series Comes from the Celebrity Splash! Franchise created in holland by television production company Eyeworks, and has been broadcast since Sterren Springen Op Zaterdag on SBS 6. A US variant, from Pasadena's Rose Bowl Aquatics Focus on ABC television and the Riverside Aquatics Complex at Riverside City College, premiered on 19 beneath the name Splash. The US version features 2012 Olympic 10 m diving champion David Boudia along with American legend Greg Louganis as judges. The Seven Network in Australia have also commissioned Celebrity Splash! Which will air in 2013.
