Place through the turbulent start of the civil rights movement in Memphis, Sun Records informs the untold story of nothing less than rock'n' roll's birth. Guided by Sam Phillips, young musicians such as Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis mixed the designs of hillbilly country using all the 1950s R&B noise generated by artists like Muddy Waters, B.B.
