The New Avengers

The New Avengers is actually a British spy fantasy adventure television show produced during 1976 and 1977. Original series manufacturers Albert Fennell and Brian Clemens is really actually a sequel to the 1960s series, The Avengers and designed it. The Avengers Enterprises Ltd produced the series for the ITV system, cost # 125,000 per episode to make Pinewood Studios in England and was seen in 120 countries. A joint United Kingdom-France-Canada production, the series sees the adventures of John Steed as he and his group of"Avengers" fight bad plots and world domination. Where as in the initial series Steed had almost always been partnered with a female, in the newest series he'd two spouses: Mike Gambit, a top representative, crack marksman and trained British artist, and Purdey, a former trainee together with all the Royal Ballet who had been an amalgam of many of the best talents from Steed's female spouses at The Avengers.
