Sola

Sola is just a job conceived by Naoki Hisaya with character design by Naru Nanao. Sola is really a mixed media project, first unveiled through the prologue of the manga featured in the Japanese manga magazine Dengeki Daioh on December 2 1, 2006, published by MediaWorks. Ended serialization on February 2 1, 2008. The manga has been licensed for distribution in the united states from Broccoli Books with the very first volume being released in June 2008. A quick play CD which also served as a prologue to the series had been released at Comiket 71 in December 2006, and also a second play CD was released in May 2008. An anime version aired in Japan. The anime contained Six episodes, and also two other episodes followed. Bandai Entertainment for distribution approved the anime in the united states in a subtitle-only box collection of all fifteen episodes. The title, Sola, is close in pronunciation. At the conclusion of 2007anime fans voted Sola since the very best anime of the year.
